I am hungry, therefor I eat, therefor I am!

My name is Lars Charas, 38 years old and living in the beautiful city of Utrecht, the Netherlands. Educated as Urban planner and Geographer (and some philosophy), it was mainly food that occupied my brain. This made me become a chef and farmer at the age of 26.

I have always been a creative thinker who abstracts ideas from both science as the practical field. I can sit in a vegetable garden for hours, just thinking or trying to form a piece of marble when I sculpture. I understand farmers and chefs (and sculpturers) on one hand, but policy-makers and scientific innovators on the other. The strategy on this website is the outcome of ten years thinking, cooking, talking and eating.
